Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.

A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines via the internet.

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.

He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
